Background

The founders of Cometa Can started off in general trading and export-import in 1953. In the development of the business, in 1965 one of the divisions of Cometa establishing themselves as suppliers of tinplate (tin raw material) and became the nation's largest at the time. This success is the starting point for establishing a corporate status of private limited in 1973 and in 1975 PT. Cometa Can Corporation was borned (Cometa Can).

At first Cometa Can only concentrate on general cans production. Entering the era of 80s Cometa Can begin to expand its production to processed food products and dry food can to this day.

Thanks to the support and confidence from customers for more than 3 decades, have led and transformed Cometa Can into becoming one of the largest producer of can packaging industry in the country
